Play Baldur's Gate II in WideScreen
So, you get yourself a brand new PC with 20-24" wide screen monitor, and think of playing all those RPG titles... Yes, the Witcher, and... Well, the Witcher. But, why don't you play some of the classics? Baldur's Gate II Shadows of Amn and Throne of the Bhaal? No way, do you think now, there is no way that can be played in wide screen, even most of the newest 3D games have no support for wide screen...
Well, see for yourself:

Only those profile and management screens are locked, but even that way they are fully functional...
So, now you ARE interested, ah? Listen up: You need to have installed BG2 SoA (with or without ToB, this pictures are made with ToB expansion) and to download 3rd party hack from here.
Install it and console installer will ask you what screen size you want - just enter 1280 and 900, or 1680 and 1050... That's it! It works even if you already started playing. Just load saved game and continue. No need to enter setup again!

I tried it but it doesn't work. I put in the MS-DOS X= 1680 Y = 1050 and it shows like a 640x480.
I must do any steps?

I just checked both liks and they are working. Try again. For the exe, just click on it, or select save link as in firefox, and for second (readme) - you need to select it and paste in adress bar to open that page, because blogger comments do not allow links.

Doesn't work. Says the game isn't even supported. Do I need a FULL install? I've got the Recommended one currently... Also I got a patch from Bioware... If any of these cause a problem it should have been mentioned either by you or in the article.
